Developing initially as a networking and referral group, the Chamber rapidly evolved into an organization focused on the enhancement and development of the entire Spring Grove Region.
You may know us best from the annual Tree Lighting, or Smoke in the Grove BBQ Competition, or the summer Movie Nights in the Park. Whether it's celebrating the holidays, or welcoming home our own home-town Olympian, the Chamber loves to throw a party and invite the whole community.
You'll find the annual schedule of events on this site, as well as on the calendars given out during the Tree Lighting, held the week following Thanksgiving in the Town Circle.
Business Development & Networking
Monthly meetings, business after-hour gatherings and the annual business expo are just a few of the opportunities available for business members to learn from each other. Local and regional experts in critical topics are often invited to speak at the monthly meetings to provide members with timely information when they need it most.
We are well aware that the futures of our community and of our businesses lie in the hands of today's students, as they will be tomorrow's consumers and employees. The Chamber works closely with the Spring Grove Area School District to further our joint desire for our strong community through a number of projects.
The annual Business Expo provides our businesses with an opportunity to meet with 11th and 12th-grade students who may be looking for part-or full-time work or are simply interested in the industry we represent. In addition, those same students get to 'practice' their interview and networking skills with adults who are already genuinely interested in them. It's a beneficial day for all.
Chamber members also work directly with individual HS students in a one-on-one situation in mentorship or work-study programs.
